2018 BEST FLEET VALUE IN CANADA PRESS RELEASE

Vincentric Announces 2018 Best Fleet Value in Canada Awards

BINGHAM FARMS, MI – JUNE 26, 2018 The 7th annual Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada™ Awards were announced today with General Motors of Canada leading the way with eight winning vehicles while Ford Motor Company of Canada also performed well with six fleet award winners. Other brands with multiple fleet award winners were BMW, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Infiniti, Mitsubishi, and Subaru.

The General Motors Fleet awards were led by Chevrolet, with six winning vehicles including the 4-time champion Impala LS and 3-time winner Chevrolet Express 3500 LS. Cadillac delivered luxury wins for GM with the XTS winning for a third consecutive year and the XT5 for the second year in a row. Ford showed strength in both the Truck and Van categories with the F-250 and Transit 150 Passenger Van both winning for the fourth consecutive year.

Other brands with winning fleet vehicles were Audi, Dodge, Hyundai, Kia, Lincoln, Nissan, Ram, Smart, Toyota, and Volvo.

“With nearly half of the vehicles being prior winners, we’re seeing that many of these award-winning fleet vehicles are delivering low lifecycle costs year after year in Canada" said Vincentric President David Wurster. "Despite that consistency for some vehicles, market dynamics are always changing which is why it is always best for fleet operators to use current cost-of-ownership data to make informed vehicle acquisition decisions.”

To determine the 2018 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada™ award winners, Vincentric performed a detailed cost of ownership analysis on over 2,400 vehicle configurations based on typical use in a commercial fleet. Each vehicle was evaluated in all 10 provinces plus the Northwest Territories using 28 different lifecycle cost scenarios and eight different cost factors: depreciation, fees & taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost and repairs. Winners were identified by determining which vehicles had the lowest fleet lifecycle cost in the most scenarios for its segment.
