VINCENTRIC BEST VALUE IN AMERICA AWARDS

 

Once per year Vincentric performs a cost of ownership analysis at the model level to determine Vincentric Best Value in America™ awards. Vincentric measures cost-of-ownership using eight different cost factors: depreciation, fees & taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. Using a statistical model, winners were identified by measuring which vehicles had lower than expected ownership costs given their market segment and price. Each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus DC using a range of annual mileage intervals and insurance profiles. A full list of winners is shown below.

BRAND AWARDS        

Passenger Car Brand                  
Ford took home the Passenger Car brand award this year, due in no small part to an outstanding seventh-time win for the Mustang.
Luxury Car Brand
Volvo claimed the Luxury Car brand award for the third time, with wins for the S60 Plug-In Hybrid and the S90 Plug-In Hybrid leading the way into the winner's circle.
SUV & Van Brand
Dodge was the champion in the SUV & Van brand award category, led by the Durango's second-time win for Large SUV.

Tesla earned the brand award for the Luxury SUV category with a best-in-class performance by the Model Y.
Truck Brand For an impressive seventh time, Ford conquered the Truck brand award category, helped by award-winning performances by the F-150 Lightning, F-250, and F-350.
