2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo 2500 Std Roof SWB 144 WB

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 stared down the cargo van competition and emerged victorious, earning top honours in the Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada awards for 2012 by claiming the lowest lifecycle costs in 19 of 24 scenarios measured. The Sprinter’s diesel technology provided strong fuel economy, and with low maintenance and repair costs created a combination that couldn’t be beat. Although the Nissan 2500 Cargo Van showed some strength in five long-term lifecycle periods, it wasn’t enough to overcome Mercedes-Benz’s grip on this important fleet industry segment.

Cost-of-Ownership compared to Segment Averages

The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada award is based on the vehicle's performance over multiple annual distances (15k, 25k, 30k, 40k, 50K and 60k) and multiple lengths of ownership (24, 36, 48 and 60 months). The chart shown above reflects results from three years of ownership at 30,000 kilometers per year.
